On Point holds a NSW Firearms Licence Category A, B and D as a VPAC accredited contract shooter and business. That distinction matters in procurement, because the accreditation sits with the entity you are contracting.
- Prohibited Weapons Permit
A NSW Prohibited Weapons Permit covers the use of suppressors, which is often a requirement for control work near dwellings, stock or public boundaries.
- National competency accreditations
AHCPMG304 for the humane destruction of animals using firearms, AQF3 Chemical Application for compliant baiting and chemical use, AVIW0028 for operating and managing remote pilot aircraft systems, AHCMOM311 for precision control technology, and AHCWRK215 for collecting and recording production data.

How a contracted engagement runs
1. Scope
We start with the site assessment: the land in question, the species, the pressure, access and risk, and any constraints such as public access, neighbouring holdings, stock or sensitive areas. That produces a defined scope rather than an open-ended arrangement.
2. Survey
Thermal drone mapping establishes what is actually present before control begins. For a contracted program this matters twice over: it directs the effort, and it gives you a defensible baseline to measure the outcome against.
3. Control
The control mix is matched to the species and the country: ground shooting with thermal optics, trapping and baiting, or both, executed under current licence and full insurance.
4. Report
Post-operation reporting with GIS-ready outputs and chain-of-custody documentation. This is the deliverable that closes the engagement and the one your auditor will actually look at.
Grant acquittals and tender support
A lot of vertebrate pest control is funded, and funded work has to be acquitted. The reporting we produce is built for that: mapped data and counts you can drop straight into a record or an acquittal, with the compliance documentation behind it.

Can you provide documentation for our procurement file?
Yes. Licence and accreditation details, and a certificate of currency for public liability insurance, are available on request. Ask at the site assessment stage so it is in your file before the work starts.
What reporting do we get?

Can you support a grant acquittal?
Yes. The mapped data and counts in the post-operation report are produced with acquittal and audit use in mind, which is why the survey baseline is taken before control begins.
Do you work near public land or dwellings?
Constraints like public access, dwellings, stock and neighbouring holdings are assessed before any operation and shape the control method chosen. The Prohibited Weapons Permit for suppressors exists partly for this reason.
